Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

AntiHabit ("we", "us") helps people recover from compulsive habits. We take your privacy seriously — recovery data is sensitive, and we collect only what the app needs to work. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you have.

What we collect

We do not collect your contacts, location, photos, or advertising identifiers, and we do not sell your data to anyone.

How your data is used

Service providers

We rely on a small set of processors to run the app: Google Firebase (authentication, database, hosting), Anthropic (AI coach responses), RevenueCat and the Apple App Store / Google Play (subscriptions), and Resend (sign-in emails). Each processes data only to provide its service.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account — this erases your profile, check-ins, coach conversations, and community posts. You can also email us to request deletion. Some records may persist briefly in backups before being overwritten.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the EU/UK GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, use in-app deletion or contact us below.

Children

AntiHabit is not intended for anyone under 17. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access is scoped per-user by database security rules, and sensitive API keys are held server-side, never in the app. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
